Located
in the city of Pucón, IX Region, and surrounded
by beautiful scenery and paths among wonderful araucaria
and fern woods, the Huerquehue National Park is one of
the nicest protected natural areas of Chile. Here, we
will discover some lagoons, waterfalls and native millennial
woods.

Day
1 10:30AM Group reunion at Pucón (it
can vary) and transfer to Huerquehue National Park.
Arrival
to the park's entrance and after a smooth walk we will reach
the shelter. Trekking of 2 Km., 1 ½ hrs. Ñirrico
Path- Nido de Aguila Waterfall- Huerquehue River's Mouth-
Tinquilco Shelter
After
a welcome lunch we will walk around the place, observing
quilas, chauras, canelos, Arrayanes, ferns, and native flowers.
Trekking
time: 1 hour
Day
2 Ascent to San Sebastián Hill,
a part of the Caburga snowed mountains.
We
will observe the Villarica Volcano, the Caburgua Lake and
the Araucano Hill. Once we reach the summit, at 2.260 mts.
of height we can see Argentina and its eastern mountains,
and the western coast (clear day). Eight volcanoes, from
the Llaima in the North to the Puyehue in the South, and
the Tinquilco, Caburgua, Colico, Villarrica, Verde, Toro,
Chico, Huerquehue, Los Patos, Avutardas, La Escondida, and
Esmeralda lakes. A true symphony of colors, wind and scenery.
Ascent
Time: 4 ½ hours.
Day
3 Trekking through Mañíos,
Tepas and Coigues, some of them of more than 40 meters height
and 4 meters of diameter. After the second range of mountains,
the impotent araucarias, some of them millenaries, give
their welcome to one of the most beautiful places in the
world: The Chico, Verde, and Toro lakes. En During the winter,
the scenery changes its color with the snow and frozen lakes.
Day
4 Leaving the Park. Visit to Ojos del Caburga sector.
The Ojos del Caburgua is a beautiful group of wells surrounded
by woods, where the Caburga lake subterranean water springs,
and other streams.
Lunch.
Farewell depending of each person.
