Darwin Route: La Campana National Park

In 1834 the scientist Charles Darwin travelled through this region and was amazed by the presence of more than 320 plant species. In 1985 the park was declared as a Biosphere's World Reserve by UNESCO.
La Campana is divided in three big areas - each one with its own geographic characteristics. There you can find the wonderful biodiversity of The Central district of Chile.

ITINERARY: Santiago - La Campana

8:30 a.m. Pick up and transfer of passengers from the hotel in Santiago to the La Campana National Park, city of Olmué, V. Region.

The trekking takes place in the amazing native forest, which owes its growth to the characteristic microclimate of the zone.
The importance of this trekking lies in the scenery, which is one of the most representative parts of the Park's fauna.
At the end of the track we arrive at the viewpoint , from where you will have a panoramic view of the entire valley, surrounding the area.

Trekking time: 4 hours.
Arrival at Santiago: 7:00 p.m.
