On
the pre cordilleran sector of Cajón del Maipo, which
is an ecotourism center where you can enjoy of open air
activities and adventure tourism, it can be found El Morado
Natural Monument Park, a protected zone where we can admire
the San Francisco Glacier, an Andean lagoon of 2.200 mts.
of altitud and have a refreshing moment at a mineral water
source that springs from the dephts of the earth.
Departures
: October to May
1st day Santiago - El Morado Natural Monument Park
8:30AM
Pick up and transfer of passengers from the hotel in Santiago
to El Morado Natural Monument Park, Cajón del Maipo,
and Metropolitan Region.
Trekking
to the Ventisquero path. First stop at Aguas Panimávidas
sector, water source that springs from the depths of the
earth.
Trekking Time: 1 hour. Distance: 2.8 Km.
From
Aguas Panimávidas we will continue to El Morado lagoon
sector located at 2.200 masl. Here we will settle our camp.
Trekking
Time: 45 minutes. Distances: 2.2 Km.
2nd
day San Francisco Glacier
From
our camp to the Glacier there are 3 km. of distance. We
will reach the beginning of the Glacier, where we can walk
over millenarian ice.
Arrival
to Santiago at 6:00 p.m.

Every meal: dinner, breakfast, box lunch (fruits, peanuts,
raisins, etc.)
Guides, cook and full kitchen equipment.
Accommodation in mountain tents for 2 passengers.
Dining tend with table and seats.
Mules usage for heavier equipment. Each passenger must carry
a little bag with all the necessary equipment for one day:
water, wind top, polar, sunglasses, gloves, cap, solar filters,
and camera.
